Review

I bought this tablet because I wanted something to use for internet and watching videos etc. without having to get the laptop out. Having been using it for a while now, I'm really pleased with the performance.

The screen is good, it’s pretty sensitive and you can easily scroll up and down and 'swipe' through pages or pictures etc. I like the Android OS, it's easy to use and it supports Flash which is good for watching videos.

I use it for travelling as it's handy for music, videos, sending the odd email and I've also used it as an e-book reader. The battery life is fine, I get 2 maybe 3 hours from it depending on what I'm doing.

Overall I'm really happy with it for what I paid, I didn't want to spend hundreds on an Ipad and this is obviously not quite an Ipad, but at about a sixth of the price, I think it's really good value and does exactly what I need it to.

Review

On receiving this product, taking it out of the box, all of the components were present and correct (except for the TV out cable). Perfect condition, easy to use self-explanatory menu screen, a two year old can use it with ease. Expandable memory up to 32GB via micro SD card, charge via USB cable from computer/laptop. Definitely a product for people who love their music, films, eBooks etc....fits in back pocket, touch screen is not overly sensitive but works on first touch. I love this item, suits my needs and perfect for travelling long distances. Amazing little bit of tech, and for the 39.99 I paid for it, you are NEVER going to get a better mp3, 4, 5 player than this ANYWHERE!!!!

Review

I did some serious research into the Tablet market before deciding to buy the A1CS X220 Android Tablet some ten days ago. It seemed to offer everything I wanted - book reader, internet, email, MP3 player, photo and video viewer, and at a price I was prepared to pay. And it has proved to do all these things and more - I really am pleased and impressed with this product. It is well built, comes with GPS aerial, and transformer with an 8 foot cable, making it easy to use well away from a power point. It is comfortable to hold, light enough to use in bed or in a chair, and I have also used it on a train. The battery lasts for at least three hours before it needs recharging and you can use it with the mains connected as well, although I prefer not too as the mains input cable could get in the way, get pulled and thus damaged. The tablet has three inputs, two USB and one Micro SD card which can take up to 32 Gig capacity.

Never having experience an Android device before, it took me a few days and a lot of fun to get used to the system. Android 2.2 is designed for both Tablets and Telephones and this could cause problems though in practice it has not done so. There is a huge variety of Apps available that cover just about everything you might ever need and some you wonder 'why?'. It comes with a good range of useful apps already loaded including Quick Office, Google Maps and a GPS program, email and Gmail apps, Amazon Kindle, Skype, and a browser, and a range of apps that make the system work effectively. There is a wide range of free apps available through the already installed Google 'Market'. The Manual is small, but almost perfectly formed, and it does contain most of the information you will need at the beginning, although you may need to try things a few times until you get it right. You can also download a Google Android 2.2 Manual from the Internet which is a bit more comprehensive.

I also purchased the 'leather' case with keyboard. This is an excellent addition to the kit and although I have not used the almost full sized keyboard in the lid of the case much yet, I can see that under certain circumstances away from home that it will be most useful. I discovered that the Shift key on the keyboard did not produce capital letters, and an email to A1CS via Amazon was answered the following morning, a micro SD card with a 'fix' on it arrived the next day and all is now working fine. I must say that A1CS is VERY good to deal with, they reply promptly to emails and are most helpful and appreciative of any complimentary comments.

So far this has proved to be an excellent and most enjoyable product - why pay more?

Review

This is a brilliant tablet, especially considering the price. It connected to the web no problems at all and maintains the connection, is quick to load web pages, the g-sensor is responsive, downloading and installing apps worked perfectly, the quality of the pictures for video and iPlayer are great, and the touch screen is responsive too.
This MOMO9 tablet is a replacement for an older resistive screen tablet which had stopped working properly; we had contacted GTR about it - the customer service was unbeatable. In a within-the-hour response, GTR offered us the option of sorting the firmware on the original tablet, upgrading for a reasonable additional fee, or having a refund on the original tablet. We chose the upgrade option, the MOMO9 was dispatched to us as soon as the decision was made, and arrived very quickly.
We can honestly say that we have never received better customer service from anyone on Amazon or anywhere else - GTR have bent over backwards to ensure that we are happy customers, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

 Like a lot of people I probably spent far too much time researching various budget 7 inch android tablets. I wish I had seen this one first of all as it would have saved me many hours of googling. I am, quite frankly, blown away by the quality, performance and responsiveness of this CloudNine Neuropad2 Tablet.

Like other reviewers the deciding factors for me were full android market, flash support, capacitive touch screen and the very lovely android 4 (ICS) OS.

I would say the sensitivity of the device, in my opinion, is easily on a par with my iPod touch.

I have installed quite a few apps - the usual angry birds (for the kids, of course), Kindle Reader, iplayer, live wallpapers plus many other games, and they all work flawlessly.

All the preinstalled apps, such as Facebook, YouTube, Skype etc. all work fine - no crashes or freezes.

If, like me, you got fed up waiting for the UK release of the Kindle Fire, then look no further as I'm sure you won't regret buying this. I'm so glad I did, as I think it gives me far more functionality anyway.

At a £100 it's an absolute steal. If you add in a cheap Kingston Class 4 16GB Micro SDHC card you will have one little beast of a device on your hands.

Overall then - very, very impressed and would highly recommend this tablet to anyone.

We bought this system after wanting a 5.1 sound system for our living room, predominantly to use it with a PS3 (PlayStation 3). At £180 you get a great looking system with 2 tall speakers, a small centre, 2 small rears and a subwoofer. The system came with ample amount of wiring and was easy enough to assemble with all the wires colour coordinated. I bought an optical cable for sound quality and you would need an hdmi cable if you were to use the DVD player.
Sound is fantastic with action movies, PS3 games are made much more playable and listening to music is a simply tremendous, definitely worth the money!!

REVIEW

What a superb piece of kit for the money!

The build quality is excellent.
The screen is very responsive, smooth and crisp.
The battery life is excellent. 3-5 hours at least depending on what you are doing.
Wi-Fi detection and connection is flawless.
The processor does not struggle with anything I have thrown at it yet. Mine craft Lite and Dungeon Defenders Second Wave work effortlessly so I cannot see any other game or app taxing it.
Video playback is superb. Audio is also excellent although the rear facing speaker doesn’t really do the job very well at the high level of volume needed when watching video. It’s nothing a pair of headphones doesn’t solve.
The browser itself is very snappy and handles all web sites effortlessly. Flash content plays flawlessly, including BBC IPlayer and YouTube content.
Android Marketplace works perfectly. Kindle App works perfectly.
The front facing camera works fine although it’s not brilliant quality. I’ve no idea is Skype works or not and probably won’t ever try.
My 8gb Micro SD card was in and detected within seconds. Data transfer between the card and the device memory is easy. Transferring data from PC to the device is a breeze too by setting the device to USB storage mode when prompted.
I couldn’t ask for anything else.

For anyone buying this and trying to set the time zone to GMT and the Marketplace currency to GBP. Go to settings, Language and Keyboard and set to English (United Kingdom). The device will automatically adjust to GMT and Marketplace will be in GBP next time you load it up.

I was very torn between buying this device and waiting for the Kindle Fire to be released in April for £50 extra. Definitely made the right decision.
